Winter Bridal Jewelry Trends

A layer of fresh snow can make your big day even more magical. If you are planning a winter wedding, you may already know that this all-white backdrop means your jewelry can really shine. This glittery season allows everything from flowers to décor to be equally as beautiful as your enchanting setting

Sparkly Selections

Choose bridal jewelry that has the same sparkly vibes!

  1. Jewel tones – Since white is common in winter weddings, this is a great way to inject color into your special day. Think pops of emeralds, sapphires or rubies.
  2. Silver – This metal can glimmer just like cold outdoors and is a complimentary look for your snowy day.
  3. Pearls – Pearls a timeless look any time of year but play into the cozy feeling of the season. Plus, as a bonus, they can look like iridescent snowballs.
  4. Diamonds – These gems glimmer just like the snow so they are always a good choice.
  5. Blue jewels – Associated with the cold and ice, a blue gem is the perfect way to add to your something blue.
  6. Anything sparkly – Any sparkling gems, stones and metals can minim the glimmer of ice in nature.

Do’s and Don’ts

  • DON’T: If you have a thick furry shawl, avoid dangly earrings that would get stuck.
  • DON’T: If your dress has long sleeves, avoid bracelets and go for dazzling earrings as your jewelry statement.
  • DO: Consider your dress color and if it’s off-white you may want to think gold or rose gold as a complimentary color.

No matter what you choose for your special, snow-covered day, make sure you pick jewelry that you feel comfortable in and fits your own unique personality and style. As long as you choose what feels right, you will no doubt sparkle and shine when you say ‘I Do’.
